主要从事天然源农药和绿色化学农药及其药物创制研究。独立开展工作以来,以通讯联系人在国际权威刊物J. Agric. Food Chem.、Pest Manag. Sci.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Arthritis & Rheumatism、Org. Lett.、Adv. Synth. Catal.、Chem. Eur. J.、J. Org. Chem.等发表SCI收录论文180多篇;申请中国发明专利70多项和PCT 12项以及美国专利和欧洲专利各1项,已授权40多项;出版著作3部(章)。发明专利“甲氰菊酯和氯氰菊酯等仿生农药拟除虫菊酯系列产品的清洁生产新方法”已成功应用于工业化大生产,产生了巨大的经济效益,国家经贸委和国家计委将该项目列为国家重点技改项目。创制了多个超高效的植物病毒病防治药剂和绿色杀虫杀螨剂候选品种,处于产业化开发的不同阶段;创制了国家Ⅰ类新药“抗类风湿性关节炎手性药物”和“以艾滋病病毒整合酶为靶点的新药”,正在进行正式的临床前研究。
